As a consequence of Evonik Degussa's philosophy to be represented by own sales subsidiaries in important markets, Evonik Degussa Australia Pty Ltd was established in 1978 in Melbourne and Sydney.

Today, the company represents the majority of Evonik Degussa's Business Units covering a wide range of industries through direct indent and ex-stock sales. In addition, Evonik Degussa Australia manufactures a range of Colorants, In-Plant Tinting Systems and Pigment Concentrates for Textile, Inks and Rubber.

The company is headquartered in Dandenong (Greater Melbourne) in the state of Victoria. Interstate Sales Offices are located in Sydney (New South Wales), Brisbane (Queensland) and Perth (Western Australia).
